I host a lot of stuff, with varying levels of publicness (and usefullness). It's something I do as a hobby, with limited budget, and varying interest/time/spoons. pixie.town is a community-oriented place where I provide free access to a bunch of FOSS services. My personal site is cthu.lu.
!! about Matrix to IRC Bridges !!
Current visitors are likely here due to the possibility of matrix.org discontinuing their IRC bridges. While I occasionally add patches to a fork of matrix-appservice-irc, and use that fork to host bridges to a few networks, I want to make it abundantly clear that this is not a maintained alternative, and even more importantly that these bridges CANNOT sustain an influx of new users. A Synapse homeserver and these bridges can be quite straining to runs as-is, and I have no desire to dedicate more time/resources to it.This is a hobby project with limited time and resources, and while the bridges I host are technically public, this is mostly for convenience, to be used by communities I am directly involved in (like Dutch Hackerspaces, and the upcoming hacker camp WHY2025).
I would like to avoid having to close down access / kick people off / discontinue my bridges as well. So, please do not use my bridges, sorry
Possible alternatives: heisenbridge, matterbridge, thelounge (IRC client).
